XXXIII Trofeo Marco Rizzotti – International Team Racing Regata

We are pleased to announce that the XXXIII “Trofeo Marco Rizzotti” will again take place in Venice, Italy. “Trofeo Marco Rizzotti” is an International Optimist Team Racing regatta for National, Regional and Club Teams.
World class teams will participate, by invitation, to the event that will take place from:

May 23rd to May 26th 2019,

The Organizing Authority will offer 4 nights of free accommodation (from Thursday May 23rd to Monday May 27th) in comfortable bungalows, located at Camping Village Marina di Venezia to all teams www.marinadivenezia.it . Each bungalow will accommodate five young sailors and the coach.

The winners of Marco Rizzotti Trophy in 2017 and 2018 were also on the first step of the World Championship podium in the same years. In Cyprus 2018 the Trophy winner National Thailad Team, was the new World Champion and National Italian Team, second place at Marco Rizzotti Trophy, was on the second place in Cyprus, Vice World Champion.

Our aim is to have a total of 16 teams racing teams competing with the Trophy defender Thailand World Team.

Entry Fee: € 400,00 per team.
Boats for charter will be available at conventional rates.
